(Boring) Updates.

Holy shit, almost a month since I made that monster entry that lagged my iPhone when opened cos it was too damn long? Well fuck. Time's been zooming straight past me way too fast. I think the cause of all this is my really packed and routine week.

Updates:

Clubs
One of the things I really wanted to do during my exchange program was to join a club of some sort. Clubs in Korean Unis seem a lot more fun and active than ones in Auckland for some reason. The only sizeable and fairly active clubs in Auckland were academic clubs like MCC.
After some research, clubs in SNU were in four main categories.
Sports - they have like a club for almost any sport you can think of - but I didn't want to join one where they burden you with like 10 hour/week training. So, pass.
Academic - there are a lot of really good ones, especially in the field of business/commerce. Definitely things that could help me in the long run. But after watching my friend spend ALL her afternoons and evenings studying for that club (they even have exams wtf) I just thought nah fuck that.
Religious - let's skip this one before I say something that may offend some.
Music & Dance - This was really the only thing I considered. Two main ones - HIS and Bounce Factory. HIS is a hip hop dance crew - b-boying, nuff said. Although, I decided that this will require too much time and effort for me.
Bounce Factory is a club where they make 'black music' (mostly hip hop). So everything from producing beats to writing lyrics and actually recording them. Being a black music enthusiast, this was clearly my best choice.

Routine:
Monday: Classes then Bounce Factory
Tuesday: Classes then tutoring
Wednesday: Classes then tutoring
Thursday: Classes then Bounce Factory
Friday: No classes, but tutoring all day
Saturday: Varies
Sunday: Varies

During the week, I pretty much have zero flexibility. Just do as my timetable tells me.
Weekends though, get pretty exciting sometimes. Like for example a couple of weeks ago, our "SNU Buddy Group" went to an Andy Warhol Exhibition. Tomorrow, we're having a "SNU Buddy Olympics" where it's pretty much an athletics day. Next week, Bounce Factory members are going on a trip for the weekend. Gonna be pretty awesome - looking forward to it :)

And again, like every other time I write a post I wonder. Does anyone even give a shit? LOL but that's okay. At least I have a record of what I do...

p.s. Next post is going to be reeeeal interesting. Not boring shit like this with just "oh i did this and this and this and I'll probably do this and this and this next week".

aaaaaaaaand i cbfed with photos (not that I take photos anyway -_-)
